CANCELED - Rising Storm 2: Vietnam Cu Chi (CINEMATIC) 🇺🇸
Canceled project of my cinematic which has been on idle for a very long time, that I was working on somewhere between 2017-2018. Due to multiple reasons my involvement in this hobby has been halted. I do have a wish to continue on another front, such as 3D animated short films with the same themes/genres, but that is yet to be seen, when or if. I apologize for my absence, and I thank you for appreciating the work I and all the random unknowing strangers on the Rising Storm servers did.

Battle for Hue City in this game has been the most terrifying and the most realistic feeling to battle I ever felt

I used to think this would be the greatest team-based fps ever made if it weren't for the glitches, but then I played a couple other modern shooters and they are just as bad so I guess no harm done. This really is the GOAT.
In my 21 years I've played lots of games. But I've never played a game like this. Holding a hill until those last fucking seconds of the match barely surviving the VC charges, seeing your teammate die next to you as you make a last stand, getting artied to hell while praying that you don't get caught while running to the bunker. Fuck I love this game!

Been a few years, huh. Shame you never finished it, I enjoyed the previous ones a lot. Haven't touched RS2 myself in quite some time now so this was a nice reminder of better times. Let's hope '83 will be as good (if it ever comes out).

The original gun sound is sooooo much better. That and the US with backpack aesthetic were sadly dropped in its later "updates".

This game make me wonder how many teamkill during wars. Maybe just because your dumbass teammate get mad and decided to wipe out whole team. Never feel so lucky I don't need to experience those

Didn't play the game. Why did my eyes get wet? Why I got PTSD after watching this video.
that means the game did what was meant to show. That war is horrible and should be avoided at all costs. But it also means you have feelings and understand the value of life. I salute you.

I’ve played rs2 so much it gave me ptsd when it quiet in my room I hear teammates calling for napalm and commander not knowing what to do gunshots flying over my head cobras dropping grenades Huey’s flying past men screaming flame throwers barking and the music that one guys that wants to give away your location plays and last but not least hearing Vietnamese being spoken right next to me as an usmc

Dude this edit seriously escalates to great levels of realism. At the end the soldier falling down looked exactly like a frame out of an old war documentary. The later scenes achieve a great degree of intensity.
It’s not very fun rushing an objective and your teammate that’s been with you after getting off the damaged Huey gets his head blown off right beside you

I know this is just a video game but it kinda make you angry when these guys didn’t sign up but were forced to go fight a war most didn’t believe in, I think fighting communism was and still is important but the draft is not the answer for a war so small. We just fought the war wrong. Just a very un-American war
